LSU senior Rebekah Wales placed third in the women's javelin with a third-round throw of 181-4 (55.28m) at the USATF Outdoor Championships at Hornet Stadium at Sacramento State. Wales has a personal-best 191-0 (58.23m), but is still seeking the IAAF World Championship standard of 201-5 (61.40m).
