Rush-Henrietta NY graduate Samantha Watson, a Texas A&M signee, placed sixth in the women's 800-meter final in 2:00.99 at the USATF Outdoor Championships at Hornet Stadium at Sacramento State. It marked the second time in her career Watson ran under 2:01, including a personal-best 2:00.78 on June 2 at the adidas Boost Boston Games.
