Stanford junior Jenna Gray placed third in the women's javelin throw with a sixth-round effort of 187-11 (57.29m), equaling her personal best at the Toyota USATF Outdoor Championships at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa. Gray, a two-time first-team All-American, added a silver medal July 6 at the NACAC U-23 Championships in Queretaro, Mexico, before making another podium in her debut at U.S. nationals. Gray, an All-American setter for the reigning national champion Stanford volleyball team, will return to the court for senior year, looking to lead the Cardinal to a third national crown in four years.
