Darrell Hill finished fourth in the men's shot put with a fifth-round mark of 67-7 (20.60m) at the USATF Outdoor Championships. Hill qualified for the IAAF World Championships in London since second-place finisher Joe Kovacs is the reigning World Champion and has an automatic bye.
