Filmed on 06/22/07 - Indianapolis, Indiana - RunnerSpace caught up with Steve Sherer after he competed in the prelims of the 1500m at the USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships last June. Sherer had a monster performance in the mile last weekend at University of Washington's Indoor Invitational, which caused many to ask, "who the heck is Steve Sherer?". RS captured Sherer's 3:56 MILE, and hopefully Kevin Ullman's interview will help to shed more light on who this Michigan State product is that broke four minutes for the mile the first time with that 3:56 Dempsey facility record.
