Allyson Felix, 35, qualified for her fifth Olympic team by placing runner-up in the women's 400-meter final in 50.02 seconds at the United States Olympic Team Trials at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. Felix has nine career Olympic medals, including six golds, Felix joins Amy Acuff, Willie Davenport, Gail Devers-Roberts, Bernard Lagat and Willye White among the American track and field athletes who have qualified for at least five Olympics.
