Inika McPherson cleared 6-4 (1.93m) to place second in the women's high jump final at the United States Olympic Team Trials at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. McPherson, who took third at the 2016 Trials to qualify to compete in Rio de Janeiro, fell short of the Olympic standard of 6-5 (1.96m) and has until June 29 to achieve that mark in order to secure her place on the American roster to compete in Tokyo.
